Q: What is the Employee Health Center?
A: The Employee Health Center is EPB's on-site health facility. At the Employee Health Center, you will be able to see a doctor, have your annual personal health risk analysis, treatments and medications, all at no cost to you. Q: Will the EPB Employee Health Center affect my current health insurance plan? A: No. Your current health plan is not affected by the Employee Health Center services in any way. The Employee Health Center is an additional service that is free for employees, their dependents and retirees who are covered in EPB's healthcare insurance plan. Q: How do I schedule an appointment? A: To schedule an appointment please call 423-648-3350 or book online by using your patient portal. Q: What can the Employee Health Center doctors treat? A: You can make an appointment with the Employee Health Center for the same reasons as you would make an appointment with your family doctor. The physicians are licensed medical professionals and are qualified to treat anything from colds and headaches to diabetes and asthma. They can even provide immunizations and medications on-site. The Health Center is a great resource to help manage your chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and more. Q: Who are the clinic providers? A: Glenn Beasley, MD is the Medical Director for the Employee Health Center. Dr. Beasley received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Health Sciences, Memphis, TN. Dr. Beasley is also a board certified American Board of Family Medicine. |
Q: What is One to One Health?
A: One to One Health is a physician led corporate health management company comprised of high value physicians, care coordinators, and nutritionists. One to One Health offers high-quality low-cost healthcare focused on improving employee health. Q: Who can visit the EPB Employee Health Center? A: All EPB employees, spouses, dependents (age three and older), and retirees (under age 65) who are enrolled in EPB's healthcare insurance plan are eligible for services at the EPB Employee Health Center. Q: Can I get my current medications from the EPB Employee Health Center? A: In many instances, yes, depending on the availability and cost of your medications. Make sure to bring your prescriptions with you to find out if the Health Center can supply them to you for free. There may be some medications that you will continue to fill at a pharmacy. Additionally, some medications may be provided via mail order. Q: Where is the Employee Health Center? A: The Employee Health Center is located at 1413 McCallie Avenue. The entrance to the Employee Health Center is in front of the building off McCallie Avenue. Q: What is the Personal Health Risk Analysis? A: The personal health risk analysis is one of the many free services provided by the Employee Health Center. Just a quick visit to the Health Center is all it takes. You will receive and in-depth analysis of your current health along with interpretations and trends as well as warnings of early indicators of potential medical conditions such as high cholesterol. A friendly physician will always be on hand to discuss your results with you. Plus, each of your health risk assessments will be available for you to view online. |

A: No. The Employee Health Center is here to give your the added benefits of convenient, free access to healthcare, and is in no way an obligation. Feel free to use the Employee Health Center as well as your family doctor, or if you would like to use your family doctor exclusively, that is absolutely fine. Q: How much will it cost me? A: There is no cost for employees, their dependents, or retirees. No co-pays, no deductibles, or other charges. Only top quality healthcare services at no cost to you. Q: Will my medical information be confidential? A: Yes. Each visit to the Employee Health Center is voluntary and confidential. That means your personal information is never shared with anyone, including your employer. The One to One Health physicians are held to the same privacy standards required of all health professionals through HIPAA. Q: When is the Employee Health Center Open? A: The Employee Health Center is open for appointments Monday-Wednesday from 8am-5pm. Thursday the health center is open from 7am-4pm however, from 7am-8am the health center is open for lab appointments only. Friday the health center is open from 8am-12pm. |
